These are general, global terms for BaseSchool's early customers, not written for one specific country's laws. Commercial terms and any country-specific requirements are set out in the signed agreement between your school and BaseSchool, tailored to your school's country, and take precedence over this page.

Using this website

This website provides information about BaseSchool and a way to request a walkthrough. By using it, you agree not to misuse it, for example by attempting to access data that isn't yours, disrupting the site, or scraping it for unrelated commercial purposes.

Using the BaseSchool platform

Access to the BaseSchool platform is provided to schools under a separate agreement. Each school is responsible for the accuracy of the data it enters, for managing which of its staff have access, and for complying with laws that apply to its own student and family data.

Acceptable use

Use the platform only for legitimate school administration purposes.
Do not attempt to access another school's data or bypass access controls.
Do not use the platform to store or transmit unlawful content.

Intellectual property

The BaseSchool name, logo, and software are the property of BaseSchool. Your school retains ownership of the data it enters into the platform.

Availability

We aim to keep the platform available and reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance or unforeseen issues will be communicated to affected schools where possible.

Limitation of liability

BaseSchool is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, BaseSchool is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site or platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
